Friday Night Magic: Cube Draft – Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty Set Cube

In a nutshell: It’s a limited format, basically a draft, but the cards come from “boosters” created from a large, custom pool of cards. That pool is called a Cube. The beauty of a Cube draft is that any number of players is viable, so we don’t need a full 8 to draft. Speaking of, the prize pool is variable depending on how many people attend the event. If a full 8 players join, then the top three in the end will get 2-1-1 boosters as prizes. Additionally, it gives a chance for people to try out old or just different draft formats. Some Cubes are meant to simulate a draft of a certain set, and some are custom sets of cards that have some other theme or goal for how the play should feel.
